Because Fall comes soon, it is already time to work hard like this pleasant small piece where the dead layer has been done today. I really enjoy to paint according the Flemish Primitives of the XVth century. The final result is always a pleasant surprise.
Tomorrow, the "Coke with Basquiat" painted one year ago will be ready to be finally varnished. I'm sure like this that colors will not change in the future and painting will not crack for the 500 years coming at minima. :-)

Even if is Summer, my studio doesn't stop to work and I'm very happy to share this new painting with an elegant Empire frame. So classy !! I just have to found a new home for this lovely piece. ^^
In the same time, I continue to challenge myself with a painting that I work on paper. Reflections are always a real source of satisfaction, especially with silver. I hope doing it well.

This week was full time and I was lucky to see 3 of my paintings sold. The 2 lemons still available in my store and the new Macaroons (n°22) went to USA and Hong-Kong.
In the same time that several small pieces began this week, I was very happy to work the first color layer on this grisaille with olives. I hope the final result will be also elegant than my last painting with tea and lime. ^^

I'm always upset to write this, but it is true... I have be able to sell only one painting in France during these last 2 years and half. So, these last days, I have worked very hard to create new spaces on-line for promote my artwork. I create a new website and now, I'm working on a French shop on-line too. I hope like this to be one day able to send a painting in France without to wait 2 new years. :-D
In the same time, this little thing is in progress on my easel. ^^
