Peeled tangerine

"Peeled tangerine" - Oil on canvas panel - 4x6 inches
It's of course my own opinion, but I like particularly the final result of this "painting a day" done alla prima. It's always interesting to paint in an other way that you are used to. Technical variations are always complementary.

European robin #16

"European robin #16" - Oil on canvas panel - 5x5 inches
After an elegant and sweet nude, I worked on this pleasant bird which come regularly to play just in front of my studio's window with blue tit, bullfinch and goldfinch. The final result of this painting is neat and precise as you can see it.

After a weekend dedicated to stick of the stone floor in the boiler room, it was really more restful to return to the studio today. This charming miniature was finished in time to be posted by auction this evening on Ebay.

Condiments #2 Original oil still life painting

"Condiments #2" - Oil on canvas panel - 6x6"
This new painting finished in 2011 and now varnished will be available tomorrow with Paypal on Dailypainters.com. I'm very proud of it as its realistic result. Transparency is always too much pleasant to work after more of 815 still lives painted.
On this photo, the bottle of Tabasco seems twisted. The guilty is my camera. In the reality, the bottle is naturally perfectly right.;-);-)
